Dr. Bill Rohn, DVM
Dr. Rohn has been with Bayfield Animal Hospital since 2012. He earned his DVM from Michigan State University in 1993. Dr. Rohn practiced in North Carolina for 12 years before moving to Durango. He has a particular interest in surgery including both soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. Outside of work, Dr. Rohn is a big Chicago Blackhawks hockey and Chicago Cubs baseball fan, (but we don't hold it against him!). He is an avid hockey player and lives in Bayfield on a small farm with his wife and 4 children.

Dr. Catherine Rottinghaus, DVM
Dr. Rottinghaus has practiced both large and small animal medicine in Colorado for over 25 years. She has been in the area for the last 14 years. She earned her DVM from Colorado State University in 1989. She enjoys working on all animals. Her interests include Exotics and surgery. She also does all reproduction. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her children and is an avid outdoorsman. |
Dr. Jerry D. Brown, DVM
Dr. Brown is the owner of Bayfield Animal Hospital. He received his DVM from Colorado State University in 1970 and has been practicing ever since! Dr. Brown enjoyed general practice the most, and liked interacting with clients and focusing on preventative care. Outside of work, Dr. Brown is an avid fisherman and enjoys wood working.

Amber, RVT
Amber was born and raised on a local ranch where she still lives and works today. She got her degree from Colorado Mountain College in 2000. She has worked with large and small animals ever since. When not at work or on the ranch she enjoys being in the mountains on horseback with her dogs. She is also an huge Colorado Avalanche Hockey Fan. |
Jeff, RVT
Jeff is a Colorado native who joined the army out of high school. Here is where he trained as a vet tech. a career he has practiced in a few states since leaving the army. When not at work he enjoys riding his motorcycle, family time, hunting, fishing and online gaming. He lives with his wife on their hobby farm. |
