Dr. Bill Rohn, DVM
Dr. Rohn has been with Bayfield Animal Hospital since 2012. He earned his DVM from Michigan State University in 1993. Dr. Rohn practiced in North Carolina for 12 years before moving to Durango. He has a particular interest in surgery including both soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. Outside of work, Dr. Rohn is a big Chicago Blackhawks hockey and Chicago Cubs baseball fan, (but we don't hold it against him!). He is an avid hockey player and lives in Bayfield on a small farm with his wife and 4 children.

Dr. Catherine Rottinghaus, DVM
Dr. Rottinghaus has practiced both large and small animal medicine in Colorado for over 25 years. She has been in the area for the last 14 years. She earned her DVM from Colorado State University in 1989. She enjoys working on all animals. Her interests include Exotics and surgery. She also does all reproduction. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her children and is an avid outdoorsman. |
Dr. Joe Ball, DVM
Dr. Ball has practiced both large and small animal medicine in Colorado for 40 years. He is a graduate of Colorado State University. He focus is on preventative care and diagnostics. Dr. Ball enjoys the interactions with his patients and clients during appointments. He grew up in the area and still enjoys fishing, camping and just being in the outdoors. He lives in Ignacio with his wife, dog and horses.

Dr. Lewis moved here from Virginia where she practiced specialized emergency medicine. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2007. Her interest is in the internal medicine cases and preventive care. Dr. Brown is the owner of Bayfield Animal Hospital. He received his DVM from Colorado State University in 1970 and has been practicing ever since! Dr. Brown enjoyed general practice the most, and liked interacting with clients and focusing on preventative care. Outside of work, Dr. Brown is an avid fisherman and enjoys wood working.
